Origins
We were founded in 2005 by four Chartered Accountants and MBA’s who saw a need for an economical, value-driven agency for accounting and finance professionals.
Leveraging our network, we gained success early on and rapidly became a full-service staffing firm, adding a generalist recruitment brand to our solutions in 2007.
Re-launching in 2009 as Matchstick Search Consultants, our passion for servicing Food, Beverage, and CPG blossomed, and we made the decision to structure our company as an industry focused business, versus the more common functionally centric agency.
Our commitment and dedication to the Food, Beverage, and CPG community is strong, and we are confident that over the next few years we will continue to enhance our brand within these segments. We will continue to change as new technologies, processes, and innovations unfold.

Ed's passion for the Food, Beverage, and CPG industry has been instrumental in establishing the Company throughout the vertical. His knowledge of the various business segments from agriculture, packaging, food processing, import/export, distribution to CPG, retail, and food service, truly distinguishes the Company within the recruitment industry.
Ed has proven to be a highly respected, honest and dependable Manager who understands both corporate goals and
hiring manager's needs when sourcing new talent. Having worked with several SME's and multi-nationals on
recruitment & assessment assignments, Ed applies a logical, proven approach to identifying and connecting
professionals with employers.

that has and will continue to differentiate our services to our clients.

Co-Founder
Mitul, a co-founder of Matchstick Search Consultants, has played an integral role in all aspects of corporate strategy and operations for the Company. Mitul is a Chartered Accountant by trade with over 15 years of direct experience within
reporting, systems, financial analysis, audit, and taxation. Mitul has always been passionate about people, which made establishing a recruitment firm a natural progression.
